  • Unit Name:
    • Each chartered unit will have an entry.
    • (B) (G) and (B & G) will be appened to identify boy, girl, or combined troops.
  • ⚜ Link to public BeAScout page:
    • Click to open.
    • Will show no Details if BeAScout Pin is not activated.
    • Will result in a 404 error if unit is no longer registered.
  • ✎ Link to edit unit's BeAScout page data:
    • Will prompt for you to login to my.Scouting if you are not logged in. May require clickin this againd after logging in.
    • Will result in a 403 error if you do not have permission to edit this page. Please see your unit leader to update your permissions as a Key 3 delegate in Scoutbook.
  • Overall Status:
    • The color of the icon represents the overall BeAScout pin status.
    • ❖ Ready: All information presented to public.
    • ❖ Incomplete: One of more fields of information presented to public is missing, incomplete, or not enabled to be displayed in the pin..
    • ❖ Not Activated: The unit's BeAScout pin is not active. No information will be shown on the unit's BeAScout page.
    • ❖ Deliberately Not Activated: Unit has decided not to provide this information. Can also be seen in one unit of a pilot combined troop.
    • ❖ Undetermined: This unit has not been evaluated..
  • Status of Aspects of Unit's BeAScout page:
    • The color of the icon represents the status of this data field.
    • ● Valid: Data in field is present, valid, and enabled for BeAScout pin.
    • ● Missing / Invalid: Data in field is missing, or invalid.
    • ● Not pin active / Incomplete: Data in field is incomplete or not enabled for BeAScout pin.
    • ● Deliberately missing: Data in field is deliberately missing and not enabled for BeAScout pin. This action has been confirmed by direct contact with a Unit Key3 member.
    • ● Dead link: The link provided is invalid, dead, or otherwise unreachable..

  Unit Information

  • Enable the Appear on BeaA Scouting option.
  • Enable the Allow People to Apply Online option.
  • Enter the Contact Person / Phone / Email
  • Enter your Unit Specific Website
    • Feel free to contact the District Webmaster if you lack resources to create your own website.
  • Additional Information message
    • Include Meeting day and time
    • Include special instructions to find meeting room if needed.
    • Include a general message promoting your unit.
